KAYLEIGH BOWEN (she/her) graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance in 2022. During her studies she performed choreography by artists such as Pascal Rioult, Paul Taylor, and Twyla Tharp as well as new works by Sidra Bell, Jenn Freeman, and Jennifer Archibald. After graduation Kayleigh was a member of the Gibney Pro Professional Certificate Pilot Program under the direction of Gilbert T Small II, Alexandra Wells and Bret Yamanaka. With the Gibney Pro Cohort she performed works by Rena Butler, Laja Field of LAJAMARTIN, Elia Mrak, and Maleek Washington. She is an alumni of The School at Jacob’s
Pillow’s Contemporary (2021) and Musical Theater (2022) programs and has trained at the MOVE SWEAT Summer Intensive (2022). She has performed for The Table of Silence Project with Buglisi Dance Theater as well as at the Joyce Theater for Destiny Rising as a member of the MMC Dance Company. Kayleigh is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Kayleigh will be joining the Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company for her first season!
