A call to action to celebrate and elevate the power and essentialness of women’s voices in domestic and international cultural preservation, evolution and social change. A six month US State Department Cultural Exchange program partnering with Katha Ghera from Nepal.

What: Info Session

Join Carolyn Dorfman Dance for an information session to participate in a six-month, multi-faceted exchange with Katha Ghera, a women theatre collective, from Kathmandu, Nepal, supported by Communities Connecting Heritage (CCH) a world learning program funded by the US Department of State. 

When and Where: Attend ONE of the following sessions

December 3, 2019 – 6:00 -7:30 pm

December 4, 2019 – 4:00 – 5:30 pm
NJPAC Center for Arts Education
24 Rector St., Newark, NJ

Selection Process: Through an on-line application process and interviews, we will select 5-6 diverse women dance artists (ages 18- 25, especially women of color, LGBTQ, various religions) to participate in the project (February-July 2020), including a two-week in-person cultural exchange featuring workshops, creation and performances across New Jersey and New York City in June 2020.
