Eric Parra began his dance training at Montclair State University (MSU) where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance in 2017. While at MSU, he had the opportunity to perform in the works of Larry Keigwin, José Limón, Sean Curran and Camille A. Brown. Eric has danced for Earl Mosley’s Diversity of Dance, Inc. where he has worked with world-renowned choreographers and teachers such as Matthew Rushing, Germaul Barnes and Clifton Brown. He has also danced for Maxine Steinman & Dancers under the direction of Maxine Steinman, Pajarillo Pinta’o under the direction of Daniel Fetecua, and Doug Elkins Choreography, etc. under the direction of Doug Elkins. Eric has staged works at Union City High School, Montclair High School and Montclair State University. Eric is the recipient of the 2016 Martha Hill Dance Fund Young Professional Award and the 2017 Linda Roberts Outstanding Senior Dance Award.
