Fran Sullivan Marcantonio has been a Carolyn Dorfman Dance board member for several years, currently serving as secretary on the executive committee. Fran became acquainted with the company when they performed at the College of Saint Elizabeth when she was its communications specialist. What led Fran to accept an invitation to be a board member was the company’s commitment to prompting social equality as expressed through the art of dance. Aside from her service at the College, Fran was the first editor of TAPinto Elizabeth, communications specialist for Elizabethtown Gas, and managing editor of Marine Engineering Log. Fran holds a master’s degree in journalism from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Kean University.
