Carolyn Dorfman Dance to Appear in the Inaugural Montclair Dance Festival.

For the first time, New Jersey-based Freespace Dance is bringing the Montclair Dance Festival to Montclair State University (MSU) on May 31, 2025. To be held at multiple sites around the MSU campus.

This family friendly, afternoon and evening event features multiple performances that showcase the breadth of high quality, diverse, professional, and pre-professional dance in New Jersey. A unique opportunity to connect audiences with numerous New Jersey dance artists.

For the best accessibility to the Performance Venues on campus, it is suggested to park on the 4th floor of the Red Parking Deck.

All of our on-campus venues provide Designated, integrated, and accessible seating for patrons who use wheelchairs or walkers, and accommodations for their companions. These venues also provide wireless infrared receivers available to patrons upon request and closed captioning devices.

These venues include elevators, railings, wide doorways, and accessible restrooms.

Most venues include barrier-free access, with on-grade entrance.
