PIA WILSON  (she/her/hers), a versatile professional with more than three decades of experience, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at New York University, where she has been instrumental in developing and implementing a dynamic Playwriting I course syllabus. Over the past 30 years, her self-employment journey has seen her excel as a prolific writer, marked by multiple professional play productions and contributions as a staff writer to notable television shows like “Genius Aretha”, and BET’s “Sacrifice”. She is also the author of the award-winning fiction podcast, “If I Go Missing the Witches Did It”, starring Gabourey Sidibe.

As a marketing professional, Pia specializes in content development and management. She has overseen the creation and publication of marketing and advertising materials as well as public relations and email marketing campaigns. She has also managed teams, fostering collaboration and achieving marketing objectives, including social media. Further highlighting her diverse skills, Pia is skilled in graphic design, brand development, and event management.

She holds a Certificate in Marketing from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BA in English from Wagner College. Driven by a passion for creativity, she continues to make a significant impact across various fields.
