TJ Hammond is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City. He began his journey in St. Louis, MO training in ballet, jazz, and musical theatre and graduated with a BFA from Southern Methodist University. There he studied under Dwight Rhoden, Desmond Richardson, Myra Woodruff, Silas Farley and Carter Alexander. He has since worked with the New Jersey Ballet, Black Iris Project, Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Ballet Ensemble, Paul Taylor Outreach Ensemble and Amy Marshall Dance Company. TJ has also performed in productions at the St. Louis Muny. He is passionate about the art of dance and is thrilled to be joining Carolyn Dorfman Dance.
